2009 deal agreed with Allianz

In amongst press speculation that Networks are coming under increased pressure from insurers to demonstrate value, earlier this year, Broker Network was delighted to announce details of its new 2009 deal for Members with Allianz.

Broker Network has worked alongside Allianz for 15 years developing a strong long term relationship. This 2009 deal demonstrates Allianz’s ongoing commitment to Broker Network and its Members.

This year we have seen a re-structure to the existing commission framework which has been implemented to sustain commission levels over the longer term, whilst offering rewards for account growth. Commission levels represent outstanding value versus the open market Allianz commission structure.

Allianz’s Simon McGinn, Director of Commercial Broker Markets, explains:

“In the current market, all parties are working hard to maintain sustainable business models.
To enable us to do the same, we have made some minor changes to our remuneration structures which are also aimed at maintaining our long-term support for Broker Network and its Members. The high quality of independent intermediaries Broker Network brings together is extremely important to Allianz and we intend to build on the existing business partnership we have in order to deliver profitable growth despite difficult economic conditions.”

As well as generous commission rewards, Broker Network Members will also continue to benefit from a wider business deal with Allianz. This includes access to Broker Network-dedicated underwriters in four UK locations and a formal service level agreement.

2009 also saw Broker Network agree new long-term deals with Aviva and LV=, amongst others. Keep an eye out for future editions of In the know for more information.
