Insurance Times are running with “Green Shoots”, following a promising report from software
house Acturis which seems to show signs of some recovery in the commercial lines market.

Insurance Age are talking about the Conservative Party “FSA rehash” in light of the news that
their proposed organisational structure for financial services regulation would depend heavily
on the experience of existing personnel in the FSA.

And there’s been much chatter about the AIG UK rebrand as the company announced they
would shortly be calling themselves Chartis.  The new name, derived from the Greek word
for map, also marks a major step towards the rumoured outcome of an initial public offering.
