Our foundations

We’re all about progression, but let’s take a moment to look back and reflect on the history of Broker Network.

Broker Network was founded in 1994. Our innovative Network has defied recessions, endured economic downturns and continues to come out fighting. As the broking landscape has changed and evolved over the years, our Network has continued to grow and now encompasses over 250 Network Members.

Our ambition has always been - and indeed still is - to support brokers of any size or speciality and help them to be even more stronger and profitable.

A decade later in 2004 Broker Network Holdings PLC (the former parent company of Broker Network) was listed on the London Stock Exchange. From then on we excelled in financial performance, acquisition and organic growth. The final piece of the Broker Network jigsaw came in 2007 when the Towergate Partnership, Europe’s largest insurance intermediary, purchased the Broker Network Group in its entirety. This led to the creation of the Towergate Network Division, a group comprising of both Broker Network and Countrywide Network.
