Discuss, debate, develop: Bring your people to the National Conference

This October, independent brokerages from across the length and breadth of the country will join together to share ideas, develop skills and knowledge, and hear from industry leaders on the hottest topics that impact the world of insurance today.

What if I’m not a Member of Broker Network?

Both Members and non-Members alike are warmly welcomed at the National Conference. This is a real celebration of independent broking and is the perfect arena for sharing best practice, frank discussions of hot button broking issues, and networking with like-minded professionals.

This is your opportunity to establish valuable connections with key faces from across the Network; tune in to cutting edge seminars, workshops and panel discussions; and develop a crucial understanding of how you could use the Network to your benefit.

What’s on the agenda?

There’s lots going on throughout the two days for you to get involved in, from the dedicated Masterclasses on subjects like cyber insurance and the regulatory landscape; to a talk from our keynote speaker Robert Peston; as well as the many networking opportunities with insurers and fellow brokers alike.

We want to break down the barriers that may dissuade you from attending the Conference, whether it’s time, cost or location:

Myth 1: It’s too much time out of the office

The Business Zone offers a dedicated office environment for anyone who needs to catch up on emails or day to day work. Plus, your team can pick and choose which elements of the Conference they attend – whether they would like to join us for the whole two days, or simply book a place on a Masterclass.

Myth 2: The cost is too high

Places at the National Conference are free of charge; and to help you to bring down the costs for travel and accommodation we have secured discounted rail tickets and negotiated preferable rates at several local hotels for you.

Myth 3: We’re based too far away from Harrogate

We’re lucky that Yorkshire is in the centre of a strong rail network that links the whole country together. Harrogate is just a few hours from London by train; and the Convention Centre is only a short walk from Harrogate train station. Leeds/Bradford airport is around 20 minutes’ drive away and flights (if booked in advance) can sometimes cost less than the train.
