John Powell, Managing Director and owner of Powell Commercial, made the decision to join Broker Network in 2018. Now, more than a year on, John discusses how he has found being part of the UK’s largest broking Network.
We feel that the move to Broker Network went very smoothly. We have settled in nicely and have already developed some really good relationships with multiple teams within the Network – namely Marketing Consultancy, Placement Support, BNU and the Learning Network, who assist us on a daily basis.
Updating our website was really helpful for us, and we are really pleased with the results by the Marketing Consultancy team.
In addition, having members of staff in Systems Consultancy with Acturis knowledge has been beneficial for us, as they have the background knowledge to be able to really assist us further.
Another vital service for us has been the Learning Network. By becoming a Member, we’ve been able to easily access training via webinars, Virtual Classrooms and online modules to grow and develop both our people and our business.
Some of the team are even taking the broker-specific apprenticeship delivered by Broker Network to achieve their Cert CII. They are seeing fantastic results in their exams thanks to the level of support they’ve received.
To any broker considering the move, our advice is simple: don’t delay. In the last 14 months since joining Broker Network, our bottom line has increased by 16.1%. We are enjoying new revitalised relationships with AXA and Allianz and are really benefitting from the service levels out of the Network headquarters in Knaresborough.
Joining Broker Network has given us an edge in the market and the increased access has allowed us to pick up new business.
