Commercial Director

The Bravo Group is a collaborative group of businesses, including Compass, Broker Network and Ethos Broking; all tailored to support in excess of 830 independent Insurance Broker organisations. The Bravo Group has acquired a number of key Brokers across the UK in the last 3 years and continues to acquire whilst having an investment fund for further acquisitions.

We are looking to recruit a highly experienced Commercial Director who will develop and deliver ambitious commercial growth strategies focused on a sustainable increase on EBITDA. This will be achieved through member growth, penetration and insurer partner revenue realisation. Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Networks & Products, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team who oversee business performance service delivery and partner management. They will have proven experience as a Commercial Director or other relevant role such as a Strategy Consultant. If this role sounds perfect for you then please apply below.

Key Outputs

  • Develop new revenue streams through a range of forward-thinking innovation that continues to evolve the overall Network model
  • Responsible for realisation of the untapped synergies across all Bravo Group and wider stakeholders
  • Develop and implement Network product, service and partnership strategies in line with business objectives
  • Setting market research agenda and leading team to drive analysis to create detailed proposition and business plans on commercial opportunities
  • Act as the champion and advocate of current members and partner needs and identifying pools of potential opportunity
  • Collaboration with wide and varied range of stakeholders to deliver strategic goals
  • Building and maintaining profitable partnerships
  • Defining key business metrics and driving delivery to achieve including corrective action where required

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Developing a high performing team culture with all relevant attributes to drive future success
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with excellent leadership skills
  • Creative strategist with excellent organisational abilities
  • In depth understanding of market/peer research methods and analysis
  • Experience in financial planning and delivery (potentially gained through a P&L management role)
  • Commercial acumen from insurance or relevant adjacent industry
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Proven track record in delivering change and enhancing performance through collaboration in a complex matrix environment
