HR Systems Analyst

Location: Knaresborough

This role is an interim role for up to 12 months for maternity leave cover.

Founded over 25 years ago, Broker Network has grown to become the UK’s largest network of independent insurance brokers. With a membership base of over 600 independent Insurance Broker organisations across the UK, we provide a number of key member service applications. In addition, Broker Network continues to acquire key brokers across the UK. The successful support and integration of systems that serve the collective user base is critical to achieving this strategy.

We are looking to recruit a temporary HR Systems Analyst who will work collaboratively with members of the HR team as well as the wider business to ensure a smooth delivery of key HR processes.  The candidate will have a experience working in a generalist HR function and will posses a deep understanding of core HR service delivery.


Key Outputs

  • Plan and deliver the integration of acquisitions onto the HR and L&D platforms, ensuring close working relationship with Group Project Managers
  • Attend regular project meetings to ensure implementations are delivered in a timely manner
  • Research, coordinate, build and launch ongoing system enhancements of existing HRIS
  • Responsible for the on-going development of user guides to ensure users are kept up to date with changes and adaptions to functionalities
  • Ensures data quality and integrity by performing regular maintenance and system audits
  • Acts as a named Support Contact with Cascade for all HR functionality
  • Provide system training sessions to new and existing users through a variety of different training solutions
  • Provide an excellent customer experience by troubleshooting complex problems and investigating and resolving errors/queries quickly and efficiently
  • Attend regular Cascade networking opportunities to identify gaps within current processes
  • Ensures confidentiality of information and protection of rights of end-users and owners of data based on security requirements and functional area
  • Design and deliver accurate reporting on an ad hoc and monthly basis

Skills & Knowledge


  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • A strong knowledge of HRIS implementations from build to support
  • Possesses strong organisational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others


  • A good working knowledge of Cascade HR

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience working in a generalist HR function with a deep understanding of core HR service delivery
